Online poker has become globally famous lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its television scores. Over the years numerous variants on the original poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier broadcasting "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course all of the other players attain five cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you must in turn make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your original bet, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantly to the bank. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with a sum equal to the original wager. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The bank pays out chips equal to your initial bet and fixed expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
