Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the western in an awesome game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the dealer, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers bet with other players. By betting against the dealer, new players do not need to be concerned about any other, more knowledgeable gamblers winning their money.
A further Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game pace, beginners should be able to take their time and scheme while not having to make hasty decisions.
It’s also easier to play for a very long time with basically a little amount of money since, to lose, each of your hands must be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is given 7 cards faces showing and the dealer is given seven cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
