Online poker has become globally famous lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back in fact a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many variations on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with blackjack than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little conniving or different kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the croupier broadcasting "No further bets." At that point, both you and the house and of course all of the different players receive five cards. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you need to either make a call wager or bow out. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your original ante, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Bowing out means that your ante goes instantaneously to the casino. After the wager comes the face off. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with a figure equal to the initial bet. If the casino does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The house pays out cash equal to your wager and set expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
